CIVIL REGISTRY CERTIFICATES

The Certificate of Identity and Civil Status displays information contained in the Civil Registry of Ecuador's database and indicates the citizen's civil status.

To obtain a birth, civil union, marriage, death, or identity and civil status certificate, please visit the online services website of the Civil Registry, ID Issuance, and Identification Directorate at the following link:

For these certificates to be valid in the Netherlands, an electronic apostille and an official translation into Dutch are required.
