Affidavits
An Affidavit is an act through which Ecuadorian or foreign citizens express in writing, under oath, acts or facts of which they are certain and / or aware before the Consular authority.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Original identity document of the person making the declaration (valid national ID card or passport).
- Draft document prepared by an Ecuadorian lawyer, including all necessary clauses or the reason for the declaration.
- Supporting documents or attachments, if required.
- The cost of the sworn declaration is 25 euros.
- On the day of the appointment, payment must be made via bank transfer using your mobile phone app.
To schedule an appointment, please follow these steps:
- Go to: https://citas.cancilleria.gob.ec/
- Choose Administrative Center: PAISES BAJOS LA HAYA – CONSULADO
- Choose the service: OTROS ACTOS NOTARIALES
- Enter your personal information and complete the registration validation process.
- Attach a scanned copy of the supporting documents
- Choose the day and time of your appointment
- You will automatically receive an email confirming that your appointment has been registered and that the documents will be validated by an official.
- Please attend your appointment at the scheduled date and time at our offices located at: Koninginnegracht 84, 2514 AJ, The Hague.
