FIRST SECRETARY OF THE EMBASSY OF ECUADOR TO THE KINGDOM OF THE NETHERLANDS

First Secretary Iván Alfonso Flores Vinueza

First Secretary Ivan Flores is a career diplomat with 11 years of experience in the Ecuadorian Foreign Service.

In the Foreign Ministry in Ecuador, he has held different responsibilities: Deputy Director of Economic Integration and Bilateral Trade Relations (2021), Head of the Desk of countries in Asia and Oceania (2020-2022), Second Secretary in the Directorate of Human Rights and Peace (2019 ) and Third Secretary in the Directorate for the Integration of Returned Ecuadorians (2013-2014).

Abroad, he has served as Head of Consular Functions of the Embassy of Ecuador in Australia (2017-2019) and Consular Agent (2014-2016).

He holds an undergraduate degree in International Trade from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador and a Master in International Relations Europe – Latin America from the University of Bologna in Italy. She has a Diploma in Migration and Governance Research and Teaching Center - CIDE in Mexico, among other studies in the areas of international trade, international relations, cybersecurity, human rights and human mobility.

First Secretary Ivan Flores has been designated as the person in charge of Consular Functions, as well as will carry out diplomatic activities in the multilateral and bilateral spheres.
