Legal Persons: For documents granted by competent authorities of the Netherlands to have legal effects in Ecuador there are two options:
First option: Apostille

Second option: Legalization at the Consular Office of the Embassy of Ecuador in the Netherlands
Steps to legalize documents at the Consular Office in the Netherlands, make sure that the documents are signed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands before submitting them to this Consular Office:
- Sign document in front of Notary;
- Legalize document at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands: Directorate of Consular Affairs and Migration - Center for Consular Services (address, contacts and opening hours, here).
- Cash payment is not accepted. It is only possible to pay by a bank transfer. Cost € 80 euros.
